BUT the top is a flat shelf so ot would rest nicely on the edge of a table or as the top of a puppet show stage. It measures 32 inched across and 36 inches long at the sides. It is a rich weighty burgandy color on color floral brocade texture with white tassle trim. This is really a well-made piece and so charming.
