The designer, Sylvia Ion, illustrates children's books for classroom use, ClassConsciouBooks.com
sculpts dolls/mannequins, and is now creating a line of fashions that are fun to wear. Since these designs will appear on www.ClassConsciousBooks.com , the challenge was to make them compatible with MOTHER GOOSE. The result is a sweet whimsical line that is effortless to wear. Humpty's hat was the inspiration. With a hint of nostalgia it led to grandfather's fish tie, darling embroidered vintage-inspired apron/dresses, knotted "toga" dresses and printed "sticker" dresses. Crumpled buckram hats, and bloomer pants all carry the cute Humpty signature tag on the outside. Only Humpty can get away with features like salvage hems with the manufacturer still printed on it. This collection contains hand-made one-of-a-kind creations so subsequent orders may differ slightly. Panels for making the stuffed Humpty is also available. |
