Q: Are these Nellie Edge Books?

A: In 1988, Sylvia Ion designed many of the original Big Books for Nellie Edge. Because of contract problems, Sylvia Ion disassociated, taking the copyright to her beautiful illustrations with her. Nellie Edge hired another artist to try to replicate the books but does not come close to the spirit of the originals. Class Conscious is proud to offer the original, superior versions of these big books at a less expensive cost to teachers. In addition, we offer them in COLOR as well as black and white.
